Race description
Salomon Vitosha Trail 2026 is a mountain race that offers a unique experience amidst the wild nature of Vitosha. The race includes three distances with varying difficulty and elevation, suitable for both beginners and experienced runners. The start and finish are at Aleko Hut, and the routes pass through diverse terrain, including a climb to Cherni Vrah - the highest point of Vitosha. The organizers aim to develop the trail running culture in Bulgaria and promote an active lifestyle.

Start number includes a timing chip. Awards are given at Aleko Hut after the finish of the third runner in each distance and group. Each participant receives a medal and a one-week fitness training card at Next Level. Participants with paid registration benefit from a 30% discount on Salomon products and 10% on Suunto at Sport Box store. Use of GPS devices for navigation on the routes is recommended. The routes vary from 12 km to 40 km and include a climb to Cherni Vrah; conditions include mud, stones, forests, and open fields; registration is available online or on-site.
