Балкански шампионат по крос кънтри

The Balkan Cross Country Championship 2026 will be held in Koynare, Bulgaria, on November 7th. The event is organized by the local athletic club "Spartak" - Koynare, in cooperation with the city municipality, Cherven Bryag Municipality, and the Bulgarian Athletics Federation. The course is designed around the stadium and the buildings of the athletic club, near the city center, and will host over 600 athletes and guests. Koynare is an established host of running events with a long-standing tradition and experience in organizing sports activities.

Expected participation of over 600 athletes, team representatives, referees, organizers, and fans. The event is part of the sports calendar of Balkan athletics and the Bulgarian Athletics Federation. At the end of October 2026, Koynare will also host the national cross country championship as preparation for the Balkan championship. The course is around the stadium and the athletic club buildings, with hotels within a 20 km radius for over 600 participants and guests.
