Мусала Екстрийм

Musala Extreme is a challenging mountain race held in Borovets, offering two distances - 38 km with 2200 meters of elevation gain and 16 km with 1000 meters of elevation gain. The course passes through peaks such as Yastrebets, Aleko, Ludmil Yankov, Musala, and Mancho, providing stunning views of Rila, Pirin, Vitosha, and the Balkan Mountains. The race combines technically difficult sections with fast descents and requires strength, speed, and skills. In addition to individual competitions, there is a team run, as well as a duathlon with cycling the following day.

Start and finish at the slope in front of Rila Hotel. Distribution of race packets the evening before the race and on the morning of the start. Award ceremony for the winners at 11:00 for Yastrebets Trail Run and at 15:00 for Musala Extreme. Opportunity to participate in a team run with no participant limit per team. Duathlon with cycling the next day along the Lakatska Rila route. The course includes technical sections requiring mountain running skills; registration and participation fee; mandatory equipment; options for shorter distances and team runs; duathlon with cycling the following day.
