Камчийски пясъци

Kamchiyski Sands is a unique running event taking place on July 4, 2026, along Bulgaria’s longest beach between Kamchia Resort and Shkorpilovtsi. The course is entirely on sand and includes crossing the mouth of the Kamchia River, with rescue equipment and aids provided. The event offers two main distances—10 km and 21.1 km—as well as a 2.2 km children’s run. It is organized by the Green Step club, which promotes a healthy lifestyle and adventure sports.

The start is in the evening. Race numbers are distributed from 15:00, and baggage storage is available. The time limits are 4 hours for 21.1 km and 3 hours 30 minutes for 10 km. Children can take part in the 2.2 km children’s run for free. Participants must bring a water container for the aid stations. Timing uses RFID chips. In unfavorable conditions, the river crossing may be made by boats provided by the organizers. Registration is available online and on site. Fees can be paid via EasyPay or ePay. Accompaniment is available, and children under 7 may participate with an accompanying adult.
