Adventure Skyrun 2026

Adventure SkyRun is a mountain race held in the Rila Mountains since 2016, featuring three distances that pass through scenic locations such as Malyovitsa Peak, Musala Peak, Ribni Lakes Hut, and Strashnoto Lake. Participants can choose between a 12 km forest trail, a 25 km course with climbs and single tracks, and a 55 km ultramarathon connecting Borovets and Malyovitsa resorts with technical and rocky sections. The race offers stunning natural views and challenges for runners of different levels of preparation. Organizers provide control points and transportation after the finish of the longest distance.

Start packages are distributed on 28.08.2026 in front of Rila Hotel in Borovets resort and on 29.08.2026 in front of Malyovitsa Sports Center for the shorter distances. Control time for 55 km is 14 hours, for 25 km - 9 hours. Participants must carry their own water container, as bottles are not provided at checkpoints. Valid mountain insurance is mandatory for the 25 km and 55 km distances. After the 55 km finish, organized transport to Samokov and Borovets is available. Pre-registration and payment are mandatory; equipment is required for the 55 km participants; the race is intended for advanced runners; no registration on the day of the event, except for the children's run.
