Triglav Skyrun

Triglav Skyrun is a unique mountain race held in Central Balkan National Park, Bulgaria. The course passes through three iconic huts - Sokolna, Triglav, and Rusalka, and includes a climb to the third highest peak in Stara Planina - Golyam Kademlia (2275.4 m). The race offers three distances of varying difficulty, starting from the picturesque village of Taja, which is the starting point for all three routes. This event is for mountain running and nature enthusiasts, combining challenge and the beauty of the wild mountain.

The start is in the village of Taja. There are three distances with different start times: 7:30 for 34K, 8:30 for 20K, and 9:00 for 12K. Race packets are distributed both the evening before the race and on the race day from 6:00 until 15 minutes before the start. Awards begin at 14:00. All winners receive a race logo t-shirt. There is an option to order a designer t-shirt during registration. Participants under 18 are only allowed to compete in the 12K and 20K with a parental declaration. Refunds are possible until 30.04.2026 with a 20% fee; after that, no refunds are issued. Organizers are seeking volunteers to assist with organization. Courses: 12K, 20K, 34K; registration is open until the limit of 300 spots is reached; option to order designer t-shirts during registration; the event includes social activities and camping opportunities.
