Triglav Skyrun

Triglav Skyrun is a unique mountain race held in Central Balkan National Park, Bulgaria. The course passes three iconic mountain huts—Sokolna, Triglav, and Rusalka—and includes an ascent of Golyam Kadamliya (2,275.4 m), the third-highest peak in the Balkan Mountains. The race offers three distances of varying difficulty, all starting from the picturesque village of Tazha, the starting point for all three routes. This event for lovers of mountain running and nature combines a challenge with the beauty of the wild mountains.

The race starts in the village of Tazha. There are three distances with different start times: 7:30 for 34K, 8:30 for 20K, and 9:00 for 12K. Race packs can be collected both on the evening before the race and on race day, from 6:00 until 15 minutes before the start. The awards ceremony begins at 14:00. All winners receive a singlet bearing the race logo. A designer singlet can be ordered during registration. Participants under 18 may enter only the 12K and 20K, with a parental consent form. Refunds are available until 30.04.2026, subject to a 20% fee; no refunds are available after that date. The organizers are looking for volunteers to help with the event. Courses: 12K, 20K, 34K; registration is open until the limit of 300 places is reached; designer singlets can be ordered during registration; the event includes social events and a camping option.
