Sunrise Ultra

Sunrise Ultra is a challenging run across the rugged cliffs of Bulgaria’s northern coast, offering three distances: 42 km, 17 km, and 7 km. The race passes iconic natural and cultural landmarks in the municipalities of Kavarna and Shabla, combining endurance with the beauty of the seascape. Participants receive a special T-shirt and medal inspired by the sunrise and the vast sea, symbolizing the spirit of the event. It is a unique experience for nature lovers and runners seeking adventure and inspiration.

Race packs are collected in the cities of Varna and Shabla, with a signed participation declaration. To collect a race pack for another participant, their signed declaration is required. Participants under 18 need a parental consent declaration. The medal symbolizes the sunrise, the waves, and the journey, while the T-shirt is an artistic interpretation of the event. After the race, participants can celebrate with wine from partner Villa Daros. The event features races over different distances, is supported by local authorities, and offers a unique opportunity to run amid the natural scenery of the Black Sea coast.
