Лудогорски маратон

Ludogorski Marathon is an annual event held in the natural area Pchelin near Razgrad. The course mainly passes through forest roads and trails, with varied terrain and beautiful nature, part of the protected zone "Ostviche". The competition includes various disciplines such as running, cycling, duathlon, and triathlon with swimming in Pchelin Lake. The organizer is the "Green Step" club, which promotes a healthy lifestyle and adventure sports.

Starts are at the meadow with the sports grounds in the Pchelin area. Control and support points are approximately every 5 km with water, fruits, and medical supplies. Numbers are registered at the points. Littering is only allowed at the points or within a 50-meter radius of them. A guarded transit zone for triathlon and duathlon is included. Participants can choose a number from 1 to 999 during registration. There is an option to order a T-shirt with an original design for an additional fee. The event offers a tent camp, support points every 5 km, prizes, and accommodation options in huts and tents. It takes place on the last Sunday of July and is aimed at amateurs and professionals who want to enjoy nature and sports.
