K3 ULTRA – GOLD BORDER RACE

K3 ULTRA - GOLD BORDER RACE is the first ultramarathon to cover the border region of the Rhodope Mountains in Bulgaria. The race takes place at the end of September, when nature is at its most picturesque and colorful. Participants can enjoy professionally organized routes with minimal asphalt sections, marked and secured trails, and special support along the course. The event is a UTMB qualifier and earns points toward the ITRA ranking. All finishers receive a medal and a special race pack with a T-shirt and gifts.

The entry pack includes a T-shirt, race bib, and gifts. A medical examination before participation is mandatory. Medical assistance and mountain insurance are provided. Aid stations offer water, hot and cold drinks, fruit, vegetables, and Rhodope specialties. The course has minimal asphalt sections. Electronic timing of results. Information about accommodation, tents, and campers. Professional photography and video coverage. The race takes place at the end of September in Zlatograd and Madan, highlighting nature, history, and adventure, while supporting environmental causes.
